Master -  1600 tons,  All Oceans w/ Towing

I hold a 7th issue 1600 ton Masters license (all oceans) with unlimited First Class Pilotage endorsements for central San Francisco Bay to the Farallon Islands.

30 years of professional maritime experience on workboats and passenger vessels. Boat handling skills include tugs, barges, ship assist, ship piloting, & flat tows.  Most recent postion held as Port Captain / Captain for Hornblower Yachts managing a fleet of 10 inspected dinner/cruise vessels fro 55 ft to 300 ft. carrying up to 2000 passengers, for 7 years. I manage the operations, maintenance, dry-dockings, Coast Guard certification, and crewing for the fleet.

VESSLE RELOCATION

Responsible for vessel deliveries totaling over 15,000 mile and three transits through the Panama Canal. Recent deliveries include four 500-passenger Ferry Boats between the San Francisco and New York. Experienced in marine weather forecasting including sea and swell forecasting.
